When you write in, please include your account email and the iOS version of your device. If the issue is about a specific shop, include the shop's name and city.
Common questions
How do I submit a shop?
Open the Submit tab and follow the four steps: enter the shop's name and address, answer the eligibility quiz, attach exterior, interior, and menu photos, and review. If your submission passes the hard requirements and scores at least 5 out of 11, it goes into the curator queue. Curators usually review within a few days.
Why was my shop rejected?
Curators reject submissions for one of a few reasons: the shop does not meet our third-wave criteria, the photos are missing or unusable, the shop appears to be closed, or the submission duplicates a shop already in the guide. The rejection reason is shown on Profile → Your submissions. You can resubmit with new information or photos if the issue can be fixed.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab, then Settings, then Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion is immediate. Your saved shops, pending submissions, and rejected submissions are removed. Approved shops you contributed remain in the guide but are anonymized. See the privacy policy for the full breakdown.
How do I report a problem with a shop?
Open the shop's detail screen, tap the overflow menu (three dots), and choose Report. Pick a reason — inaccurate, closed, not third-wave, inappropriate content, or other — and add notes if you want. A curator will review the report and update or remove the shop as needed.
Why does Bloom ask for my location?
To center the map on you and to sort shops by distance. Location is "When in Use" only and never leaves your device. We don't track you in the background. Full details in the privacy policy.
